PLANLÆGNINGSMETODEN

Gantt-CPM View in Tactplan

Tactplan er et lokationsbaseret planlægningsværktøj uden kompromis. Reducer risici og optimer tiden på baggrund af data.

Familiar timelines, smarter planning.

Her viser vi dig, hvordan du nemt håndterer placeringsbaseret planlægning.

Built on Location-Based Logic

Tactplan is designed around the principles of location-based scheduling and Lean construction. While the Gantt chart shows your project in a time-based, horizontal format, the underlying data is fully connected to your takt and location structure. That means:

  • Activities are automatically grouped and sequenced by location
  • Repetitive work is aligned with takt intervals
  • The logic driving the schedule reflects how work actually flows across the site
  • The Gantt view updates dynamically as the takt plan changes

So, while you view your project in the classic Gantt format, you’re interacting with a much smarter, more production-focused system behind the scenes.

Ideal for Mixed Teams and Complex Projects

On many construction projects, teams use different planning tools and have different preferences. Some prefer line-of-balance or takt-based flowlines. Others are more comfortable working in Gantt charts. Tactplan supports this diversity.

Our Gantt view acts as common ground. It gives Gantt users a way to navigate the schedule comfortably — while ensuring the project stays coordinated through the more robust takt structure.

This is especially useful in:

  • Collaborative projects where multiple disciplines need access to the schedule
  • Client-facing reviews where Gantt is expected
  • Transition periods where teams are learning takt planning
  • Projects with tight deadlines, where fast iteration between Gantt and location-based views can improve decision-making

Visualizing Critical Paths – With a Twist

While the traditional CPM approach focuses on task duration and dependencies, Tactplan adds another layer: location. This enables you to see not only what is critical, but also where bottlenecks may occur on-site.

For example:

  • See how a delay in one floor section might cascade through subsequent trades
  • Spot risks of overlapping work in the same zone
  • Align resources across locations without crowding the schedule

The Gantt view, enriched with this spatial awareness, becomes a more effective tool for coordination and decision-making.

Supporting Better Planning Decisions

Tactplan’s Gantt-CPM view is not just a static chart — it’s interactive and fully integrated with your project data. You can:

  • Add, edit, or move tasks directly
  • View progress updates from site teams
  • Compare planned vs. actual sequences
  • Navigate between Gantt, takt, and flowline views instantly

It helps you plan with confidence, communicate clearly with your team, and stay responsive when changes occur.
